Today we wanted to highlight our classic matcha latte, made with our homemade coconut-oat mylk.
A key ingredient in this latte is Japanese Matcha, made from the green tea leaves which are steamed, air-dried & stone-ground. The end product is a rich, potent source of antioxidants and chlorophyll. We blend this with the beautiful flavours of lucuma ( a mineral rich fruit from Peru ) and maca powder (an adaptogenic root with an earthy, malty flavor).
This is blended with MCT (medium-chain-triglycerides from coconut) oil, creating a latte which will give you a hit of L-theanine (promoting calmness and energy) and a gentle, stable caffeine hit, with about 60mg caffeine, far lower then coffee and with no energy spike and crash!
